- Some don’t know what they’ll do
- Some are crying already
- Some are overjoyed at the free time
- Some are worried
Me- well, I’ll tell you about me, I’m none of those things. I’m gonna miss my boy more than I can imagine, but this is what it’s all been about. My job as a parent has been to prepare my son to be without me and be able to function appropriately. I think I’ve done that. We’ll see won’t we. At the same time I can say that I’m probably all of those things above, lost, upset, excited and scared. Moms are human after all.
I’m spending these last weeks tying up loose ends. Making all the calls I’ve needed to make, e-mailing those I need to catch up with, and making plans for myself after school begins. I’m brainstorming strategies to re-invent my life. After all, isn’t that what this is? A chance to start all over again, with the knowledge of the past and the infinite wonders of the future.
I’m ready and willing to embrace the new challenges ahead. As, I go forward I will share with you my strategies for embracing the passion of your own life. We can do this- the best is yet to come.
