I don’t think I have ever been so on top of getting my Holiday Cards as I have this year. I had the opportunity to review 5×7 photo cards by Mixbook and I wanted to make sure to take full advantage of it. So, here is what I did. I emailed one of my favorite photographers and said,” In the next 4 days can I have a photo session for my boys!” Thankfully she said, “tomorrow!” Off we went! Wait- What is Mixbook? Those are my boys! It was a tough call picking a photo because they were all so awesome, but we are here about the cards right?! Here is my take on Mixbook:
Review:
Mixbook had so many patterns and themes to chose from it was tough. Thankfully, it’s easy to just plug your photos in and see how they look with the provided theme. I tried a few different ones and a few different photos to see what I liked best. You can also save different photos with different themes so you can decided later. I had to do that myself. I just couldn’t pick I saved my themes and photos and showed my hubby and boys. They helped me pick this one. I ordered premium cards and chose the Frosted Pines Theme. I liked this one for two reasons. One that it worked well with the picture and two because it has a printed back side.
I’m glad I got this review, but this kind of ruins the surprise for my family. Oh, well, they will get a sneak peak at our Christmas Cards. They will be impressed by the high quality paper that these cards are printed on. I had these printed on Premium Silk: 111 lb, 12 pt, FSC Certified paper. Definitely worth the cost and the envelopes are also high quality. I will certainly be using MixBook again for my photo printing needs. Check them out on Facebook and on Twitter. It’s always worth it to follow companies on Facebook and Twitter because they sometimes offer special deals for followers.
A special thanks to Jenn Voorhis at A Thousand Words for her amazing photos! If you are a Hudson Valley resident you need to check her out!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
