My family and I are hosting Thanksgiving here at my house this year. I wanted to teach my boys a bit about gratitude, so I came up with this great idea. I went to Michael’s craft store and purchased these cut unfinished wooden frames for a dollar each. I also bought a container of harvest style stickers that were 50% off for the kids to use as decorations. We spent last weekend painting the frames then adding stickers.
I had these images of the boys printed and I added them into the frames. Hopefully no one coming over reads this post. ( That’s why I saved it for a last minute post!) The boys had fun painting and using the stickers. They also cannot wait to give out their gifts. The thankfulness comes in many forms. The kids are happy they get to create something, mom is happy the kids aren’t bothering her, and hopefully the guests will be thrilled about the goodies they get to bring home. Very little time, very little money, and very little effort,
Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Let me know how you have your kids show gratitude!
