When my girlfriend came over for a moms night in and told us about this great recipe for vodka infused gummy bears we all salivated! They had to marinate so she didn’t have enough time to bring them as a treat. She did however send me the link to where she saw it and I tried it myself. You can checkout the original link HERE or follow my steps below.
What You Need:
1 bag of gummies ( 2 if you have kids- they’ll need one to keep them from eating the vodka ones.)
Vodka
Glass container
Step 1 Place gummies in glass container. I used a bowl.
Step 2: Pour enough vodka into the bowl to cover the gummies completely. Then cover the bowl. I used a plate and place it in the fridge.
Step 3: After 2 days this is what they looked like, I pulled them out and gave them a try. They were soft on the outside , but hard on the inside. It also had a strong after taste of vodka. I mixed them and let them sit in the remaining vodka.I continued to mix them over the next few days.
Step 4: After 5 days of marinating these gummies absorbed ALL of the vodka. They became super yummy and smooth. Also larger and juicer then they started. Maybe a little too smooth, as they can go down easy. I served these at my last Ladies Night and they were a big hit. Just a warning, do not let the kids eat these! At this point they taste yummy and fruity and I could see a child being able to eat these without noticing the vodka. So let this be your warning! Other than that enjoy these at any party for a fun treat!
