Back to school means after school snacks! It means lunches and school snacks as well. Popcorn is always a big hit. I love these Jolly Time mini bags. They are the perfect size for my boys. They also have 100 calorie options which are endorsed by Weight Watchers. My kids love popcorn as a snack and on movie nights. We tried three types of Jolly Time mini bags and here is what my family thought of these products.
My oldest son opted to try the 100 calorie Jolly Time Healthy Pop Kettle Corn. He found it to be his favorite. My husband also chose this one. I found it sweet and my least favorite, although I would still eat it! Here is a fun fact: The peak period for popcorn sales in the home is the Fall.
My little guy, well he went straight for the Jolly Time Blast O’ Butter. He’s not worried about his calories, although the count is not bad for this awesome buttery taste. Yes, this is my favorite. I felt as if I purchased this at the movie theater. I loved the buttery taste. Here is another fun fact:Popping popcorn is one of the number one uses for a microwave oven. Most even have a popcorn button! Mine does, although it doesn’t work with the mini bags. I learned that the hard way. When my son said, “What’s that smell?” That would be burnt popcorn.
We then tried the 100 calorie Jolly Time Healthy Pop Butter. It was good and if I was watching my calories I’d stick to this one, but Blast O’Butter was my favorite! The kids didn’t seem to notice that this one was different. They enjoyed it just as well and even asked for more. I also like the fact that this is a gluten free snack that my kids can make for themselves. My last fun fact: A popcorn kernel can pop up to 3 feet in the air!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
