The Digest Diet is the latest in weight loss diets by Reader’s Digest Editor-in-Chief Liz Vaccariello. Her name might sound familiar as she is also the co-author of the Flat Belly Diet. The book is set to release on October 2. I’m part of Team Digest and I’ll be keeping you informed on how I’m feeling as I take part in trying this new diet. While, I don’t have much weight to lose I am always looking for ways to eat healthy and that’s what this book is about. It’s about learning what foods are good for you and how they can help you keep the weight off.
I’m starting the challenge a bit behind the rest of the team, but I don’t have that much weight lose. So, on Monday I’ll be starting the fast release part of the program. I have been taking diet pills, and have lost 5 pounds while counting my calories. When I stopped counting I put that weight back on. I’m hoping that adding this program will help me not only lose the weight, but keep it off. The fact is that I just want to keep a healthy eating routine. I’m loving how well this book is written and the fact that it contains success stories as motivation to lose weight. The recipes are varied and simple. This is a program that anyone can do. That also includes activities and exercises for not already following a plan of there own or for those of us just starting out.
