I just had a MommyParty sponsored by Random House to introduce and celebrate Haylie Pomroy’s book The Fast Metabolism Diet: Eat More Food and Lose More Weight. Watching Pomroy on Tv was helpful to me as I was about to take this Fast metabolism diet and give it a try.
I wanted the guest to try out some of the recipes that they would taking home in the book. The Fast Metabolism Diet is made up of three phases. We tried the Turkey Chili from Phase 1 and the White Bean and Dill Hummus from Phase 3. Some of the diets call for a slow cooker which is an awesome way to prepare your food if you are on the go and busy. Crock-Pot- the Original Slow Cooker sent me their My Time Smart Select Slow Cooker to help get the party started! People loved how the food tasted and couldn’t believe that this was diet food. There is no calorie counting just clean eating. I love that the book explains in detail the science behind speeding up your metabolism. This should help you retrain your thinking into healthier ways of eating. I’ll be sure to keep you posted after I’ve tried the diet.
