I feel as if I’m on a down hill plummet. After being completely overwhelmed and feeling bullied now I’m having computer woes. First, I found out that Google has taken away my page rank over some unnatural links. I am devastated. I’m also stupid. I started this blog for fun not profit and eventually it has built itself into something more than I had planned. Unfortunately, I just kept plugging away like an amateur and I missed some important things that were happening in my field. Now I’m being penalized for it. So, I’m working away trying to make things right with Google. If you want to help me please share anything I post that you might find interesting.I need all the shares and page views I can get. Then as if that wasn’t bad enough my Mac is having some sort of attack and won’t charge. Please keep your virtual fingers crossed that it’s just the battery. I miss my baby and this PC is slow as shit. I’ll be keeping you posted! Pray for a quick redemption.
This week I learned that:
10. every single person that you come into contact with makes a difference. ( I smiled all day because a kind stranger held the door for me on a very trying day. )
9. the one amazing thing I do is parent. ( Yes, I’m saying it. I might not be perfect, but I know my kids. They make me an amazing parent.)
8. without fail my youngest son will flirt with the waitress every single time. ( This time time he had about 4 of them behind the counter smiling and waving at him. They were talking about how cute he is. I’m in so much trouble.)
7. Verizon needs to send me 4 change of service letters before the 5th one gets it right. ( This was all in a 6 day period.)
6. no matter how many times I ask my son’s teacher to give me a head up when a substitute will be in she won’t. ( I don’t really care if she’s taking the day off to get her nails done. I just want to know if she won’t be there. My son has anxiety issues and a heads up helps.)
5. you can’t make somebody care. ( About their job, their friends their neighbor- if they don’t they don’t. End of story.)
4. having a fast computer has made me so much less patient on a slow one. ( I swear I could have washed a load of laundry and gone to the bathroom before that YouTube video loaded.)
3. I get too stimulated when I walk into a store like The Christmas Tree Shop. ( I’m like a deer in the headlights frozen by a bunch of cheap crap!)
2. you can’t take advantage of anything it could be gone before you know it! ( You get it right?)
1. I find an opportunity in everything – good or bad. ( So, things sucked for me this week. I could quit or I could adapt. I have chosen to be in control of my own destiny even though some would wish that I quit!)
