Who knew buying cereal could actually be fun? For a limited time, exclusively at Target, you can pick up retro packages of your favorite General Mills cereals. My kids had a blast reading the boxes and exploring the year that each of these boxes represent. They also asked lots of questions, such as, “How old were you when this package came out?” “Do you remember eating this when you were my age?’ Talk about sparking up a conversation around the breakfast table! I never would have thought that we could talk about so many things because of a box of cereal. I shared with them about the types of cereal I ate and how I remember when they first came out with Reese’s Peanut Butter Puffs!
My oldest went straight for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch! A family favorite in our house.
My youngest chose Lucky Charms as his favorite pick from the Retro Collection. I know he just couldn’t resist the marshmallows.
Stop by Target and pick up one of these General Mills Retro boxes before they are all gone! Family fun at the breakfast table couldn’t be easier. Retro cereal available include:
- Lucky Charms
- Honey Nut Cheerios
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch
- Cheerios
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Puffs
“Disclosure: The information and free cereal have been provided by General Mills through Platefull Co-Op.”
