Being a self-professed product junkie, I’m always ready to try the latest products to hit the market. This July L’Oréal Paris launched their Visible Lift Blur Foundation. Blur technology? Could it be true that a foundation can instantly blur lines and wrinkles? Well, this over 40 mom wanted to see if she could find some of that smooth skin in a tube. Here is the scoop:
L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation is L’Oréal Paris’ first makeup with exclusive blur technology formulated to instantly blur lines and wrinkles. Signs of aging disappear as Visible Lift Blur Foundation hides dark spots, large pores and smooths uneven texture so you get a flawless finish you can see and feel.
As excited as I was to try it, I was also a bit skeptical. I have tried a few foundations that came with similar promises. They failed in two areas for me. If they worked I was left with smooth skin that felt as if I was wearing a mask. (Too heavy!) If they didn’t, the product usually settled into my fine lines and wrinkles and made them more visible. L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation has been a HUGE success for me! I LOVE it! Can I scream it any louder? Not only does it “blur” my fine lines, wrinkles, pores, and freckles, but it’s light weight. I have been wearing it alone this Summer on days that I want some coverage, but don’t want to deal with a full face of make-up. It’s been perfect. It has an SPF of 18 so I’m protected and I don’t need to use any fancy filters for a good selfie! It blends in smoothly and has no scent, which is a huge plus for me. I’m also a fan of the matted finish which leaves my skin looking young and fresh, not plastered up. I plan to keep L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation in my make up bag from now on! A big thumbs up from this mom.
