Let me just say that I am not a baker! I love-making treats for my kids, but I’m more of a grab a box of cake mix than make it from scratch kind of girl. So, when Immaculate Baking launched a new line of dry baking mixes with the promise of them being non-GMO like it’s refrigerated cookies, my heart skipped a little beat! Immaculate Baking dry mixes use wholesome simple ingredients that range from all natural, to organic and even gluten-free. They use the same ingredients that you would use while baking from scratch. The eight new dry baking mix items have 0 grams of trans fat, and contains no artificial preservatives or high fructose corn syrup.
The Review:
Out of all the mixes that I was sent I wanted to try the Gluten Free Double Chocolate Chip Cookie mix. Gluten free is tough. If you can make a gluten-free cookie taste good then you can make anything taste good! I have eaten lots of gluten-free products so trust me, I know. My boys helped me make them. I just needed to add eggs and oil to the mix. I thought that it looked very dry when we mixed it. I didn’t have a good feeling about it. We scooped it out and placed it on cookie sheets. Well, I was wrong. After they cooled and we tasted them, They were perfect! The part that impressed me even more was that after 2 days in an air tight container the cookies still tasted yummy and moist. Gluten free tends to get hard, but not these babies. I can’t wait to try the other mixes!
