Given the chance to read about some cool paranormal dreaming sounded like a nice porch read for me. So I grabbed Lucid: Othernaturals Book Two. This book continues on from Christina Harlin’s first book Othernaturals where she introduced the team of paranormal investigators. After reading the second book first, I have to say I am intrigued now to go back and read the first book.
The team is made up of seven individuals who all have special supernatural abilities.Rosemary is the telepath, Stefan the medium, Andrew the psychic, Kaye the healer, Sally the vampire, Greg the ghost spotter, and Judge the animal empathy. They all run a paranormal investigation show and travel to help people with situations that relate to their show. In this book the group travels to help a woman named Ivy who owns small tomato farm in Missouri.
In this book the reader is able to get a glimpse into some of the background of the seven’s past. You see each of them dealing with their own personal struggles of having supernatural abilities in and living in a normal world.
On the tomato farm there is a problem with everyone having the same dream of a white wolf. The small town has turned their backs on the farm and began to spread rumors about the farm. Ivy the farm owner needs to help to turn things around and rid the farm of the white wolf and make her tomato farm profitable again. Her unfortunate white wolf dreams and town rumors even have affected her fiancé and their interns that help work the farm. The team works together with all their supernatural abilities. I found them all pretty fascinating. A few moments in the book I thought were pretty intense, that I could not wait to get to the end of the sentence to see what the outcome was going to be. Now I do not want to give away what happens with the farm and the white wolf dreams, or how the team solves this. I suggest picking up the book.

About Jenn Markwerth:
I live in Upstate New York in the most fantastic town. I am a mother of two amazing girls ages 10 & 8. My girls keep me moving and active with being a sports mom. I love to cook and cruise food blogs. Pinterest has given me tons of ideas . Oh and YES I have made things from Pinterest not just pinned! I enjoy reading Blogs on mommy stuff and laughing along knowing I am not the only one out there who has had that done or feel that way. Now that my oldest is entering middle school and puberty is fast approaching any blogs with wise words on how to get through the next years of attitude are the holy grail! Lucky for me I work at our local high school and have been hearing the inside scoop direct from the students. Life just keeps moving forward and getting better.

That sounds like just the kind of book I like. I will have to get a copy to read at the beach this summer.
