Yes, the list is back! I personally have been going through quite a bit of new transitions lately so I have been taking sometime for myself. Today I’m feeling good and more like myself than I have felt in a while. I hope your Fall has been off to good start! Well here we go……
This month I learned that:
10. there seems to be an abundance of National (Insert something here) Days. ( Seriously, I’m so over it. I even did some research because I didn’t think there could possibly be all of these days, but I was wrong. It’s true! Not only is it real, but you can go online and register your own National……Day! Just go to http://nationaldaycalendar.com/ and see for yourself!)
9. people seem to get offended by the slightest things these days. ( Cups, ads, blah, blah, blah…I’m afraid someone is going to hear me call my kids “my little peanuts” and get upset because they have a nut allergy. Whatever, let’s move on.)
8. when people can’t sleep they like to go on Facebook and tell everyone that they aren’t sleeping. ( I’m sure you’ve heard or read about the studies on how sleep can be disrupted by using electronics right before bed. Trust me the last thing I want to do when I can’t sleep is to get on Facebook- now that’s a nightmare!)
7. I need to pay more attention to certain relationships I have with people. ( I feel as if I might have undervalued a few relationships ( not intentionally) and I want to make more time for those that matter.)
6. silence is golden. ( You can say so much more when you don’t say anything at all.)
5. I don’t have as much pull as I thought I had. ( I have to say that I was very disappointed at the turn out for donations the kids were seeking for a community service project. Most of the items were things that people probably have in their house or you could buy at the dollar store. Sigh…..)
4. I will never be able to finish scrapbooking all the pictures I have collected. ( I think I just need to buy some albums, slide them in and call it a day!)
3. watching someone go through a mid-life crisis on-line isn’t as fun as you’d think it would be. ( It’s actually very sad. I hope she snaps out of it, but I really doubt it.)
2. there is joy is helping someone who can’t help themselves. ( I’ve said it before, but when things aren’t going well for you the best thing to do is to help someone who needs it. It can heal your soul. It can be a simple smile to a stranger or dropping some change in the donations bin.)
1. if you are not happy with the way things are in any given situation you need to do something to change it or to shake it up. ( Yes, it’s easy to say and harder to do, but I assure you that it’s possible. Change doesn’t always have to huge and disruptive. It can be small and subtle. Give it a try)
What’s new in your life this month?

I love your list and can relate to so many of these things too. I never seem to have enough time to do certain things and yes Facebook is driving me crazy these days too. 😀

So much truth here! I get tired or reading the FB posts on “I can’t sleep” or “my head hurts so bad” – then get off the internet, haha!
