Lionsgate Arctic Adventure on Frozen Pond is Now Available
on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand!
If you’ve been following my blog for a while you know how my family loves movie nights. We love reviewing new films together. Arctic Adventure on Frozen Pond was a good time for us!
About the movie:
Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox (YouTube’s SMOSH) join Jon Lovitz (Hotel Transylvania) in this hilarious tale of brave frogs on a bold quest. For centuries, the Crystal Frog has protected the Frog Kingdom with its magic. But when sneaky One-Eye (Hecox) plots to steal the artifact and become King, it’s up to Freddy (Padilla) and the Frog Princess to make the arduous trek to the Holy Land. Through forest, desert, river rapids, and icy caverns, the bravery of the frozen warriors keeps this colorful saga hopping.

Our Review:
I have a 13 year-old and an 11 year-old that cringed when they saw the family approved label on the package. I had to guilt them into watching the movie and to help me review it. Guess what? They actually liked it and watched it 2 more times just for fun! I think they learned a bit of a lesson about being able to have fun no matter how old you might be. The movie is rated PG as there is plenty of action and peril in this adventure. It is very family friendly and appropriate for a wide audience. (My boys even thought so!) We felt like it is the perfect film for a mixed audience. (Like when you have company!) My sons’ both loved the tadpole character in the screenshot above. With so many questionable films on the market it is refreshing to find a funny, well animated, film that everyone can enjoy. This is a wonderful film for any family movie collection!
