My Results:
In 2 weeks I lost 5lbs and 4 inches ( 2 off my waist and 2 off my hips). My stomach is flat and Yes- cellulite has begun to diminish.
My disclaimer- I totally cheated during week 2, didn’t exercise,and had a glass of wine almost everynight. I didn’t drink the fiber you had to drink twice a day it actually made me vomit when I drank it the first time. My husband has been drinking it and he’s been fine with it. He’s lost 5lbs and I haven’t measured him in over a week, but he also had lost several inches.
PROS: I’m drinking so much more and can notice it in my skin. I am probably eating more than I usually do because I don’t always have breakfast. Now I do. I’m eating more fruit and vegetables in a day than I ever had before. I love it when I wake up and don’t feel bloated. I have more energy and find that I am more focused.
CONS:I have to urinate all the time! The first 2 days was the worst. I also was very tired the first 2 days. You drink all the time and have to pay attention to when you drink,how much you drink, etc. The food takes a million years to prepare (darn those whole foods). The fiber drinks- Blah- only had 1 – never again! I also felt tired that first week and stopped doing all exercise.
We are going to repeat week 2 since we cheated so bad, but I’m going to tweak somethings.I’m also going to begin exercising again this week. I also picked up the Fat Flush cookbook to give us more variety in our diet.
Conclusion:Probably one of the easiest programs I’ve ever done. (disclaimer- I’m a healthy eater in general) I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a gradual lifestyle change. With any diet if you lose the weight then begin eating crap again you are going to gain it back, so don’t bother. You will lose the weight on this plan.
Don’t want to invest- I picked up all these books at the library before I decided to go with this plan. I did however make an initail investment at the Health Food store that put my food budget over the edge, but it has been worth it.
