I recently had a chance to review nut free Tanabars. I jumped at the chance because my son loves all different type of bars and he was in a nut free classroom this past year. I never sent him in with any type of bars because it seemed that they all had some sort of nuts or were produced in a facility were they could have been exposed to nuts.
So here is the scoop:
4 year old – did not like them.
Mommy – I thought they were good ( yes just good, but I’m not a big snack bar eater)
Daddy – Thought they were crumbly, but tasty.
6 year old – LOVED them ( he is my big snack bar eater) He wanted more, but alas I had none.
My conclusion I would definitely buy Tanabars for nut free situations. My big snack bar eater loved them and so did my husband. At $24 for 12 bars I would only save these for true nut free situations, but definitely worth the price for a quick snack to toss in my sons bag.
