Today is officially my families start of Summer and all I have to say, “I need a drink!”. These kids are nuts! On Monday I’m starting our Fake Summer Camp program that I created and I’m hoping for some peace. In all seriousness it’s not that bad here, but I still wish my little guy didn’t have such strong lungs! The hubby got his MRI results back and it looks like we are looking at bulging herniated discs- fun right! He’ll continue with the Chiropractor twice a week and sees a surgeon in July. No, crazy antics from him this week. Sorry to disappoint you. Here we go:
This week I learned that:
10. I’ve been in denial – when you are on the phone your children always need something. ( I said, no not my kids, but it’s a lie, just a lie, they do it too!)
9. you NEED to clean the lint trap everytime you dry a load. ( I usually clean mine every 2 or 3 times. This cost me about $151 for a repairman to scold me and tell me it’s everytime!)
8. I go a bit crazy when my windows are closed. ( it’s been raining off and on all week and the windows and I have been playing an up and down game.)
7. people can bond in several ways both online and off. ( I ran into a few people this week that I’ve only had online contact with for months and it was like we’ve talked every day.)
6. a simple gesture to show appreciation is the best gift anyone can wish for. (Oh, you know the whole it’s not size, but the sentiment)
5. you just really don’t know people until you’ve attended an “adult” party with them-LOL. ( such a blast I think I’m going to throw one myself!)
4. I can take a day off just for myself and be applauded for it, not condemned. ( you can, too!)
3. I don’t think I’m ever going to stop bitching about the people in my life that won’t sign up for my blog. ( it just drives me crazy- don’t expect to be in my reality show later if you don’t support me now)
2. stay at home hasn’t hurt my intelligence a bit. I find my self smarter than at least 70% of the population. ( this is me trying to be humble after the dumb ass conversations I’ve had this week)
1. having happy and healthy kids is the most important thing you could wish for in life. ( be happy with what you have and don’t waste your time wanting material items.)
Have a great weekend and I hope to be sharing a new blog format with you soon!
