Crazy, busy week! It feels good though. I think I function better under a little bit of stress. To sum it all up in a nutshell, besides football practice in the rain, volunteering in the Kindergarten class, and working the school book fair-my 5 year old was sent to the principals office and it was suggested that my 7 year old get some counseling to deal with being a perfectionist, Oh and my husband got his second spinal shot-believe it or not it was a much better week than last! I’m serious, it really has been a good week. We are all happy and healthy and you can’t ask for anything more than that.So here we go:
This week I learned that:
10. I spent most of the day Thursday wearing my shirt inside out and had no idea. ( sometimes I just think I’m losing it)
9. if you go back to my earlier posts the articles contain the wrong pictures. ( I hate you blogger for not transferring my shit correctly!)
8. I love it when people bring me food. ( My mom came up this weekend and brought over some soup, my sister brought over her famous Vodka sauce, it was awesome! Now either they like me or afraid I might try and cook them something!)
7. some people will believe anything. ( seriously, that whole Facebook host! You really need to do your research before you start posting mis-information. By the way, if you share this post on your Facebook page and spin around three times you will showered with gold coins)
6. I like small children more than I like teenagers ( If you know me than you know what a bring stretch that is!)
5. I, as much as I have tried to get Facebook back to normal, it’s just not the same. ( I really hate the new changes, I haven’t been on as much)
4. life is just not he same without my juicer. ( my juicer broke and I haven’t gotten a new one yet, but I really need one! This weekend I must buy a new juicer!Veggies are cool!)
3. it’s hard to work at home, I must be more disciplined. ( I get so distracted and need to put myself on a schedule)
2. the medicine the doctor gave me has stopped working-I need some help with my belly! ( I must make another appointment and maybe seek a nutritionist)
1. you are your child’s number one advocate-no one else is in charge -just you. ( don’t ever think that your child’s teacher, coach, therapist or anyone else is taking care of your child’s needs 100%- you need to ask questions and be involved- It takes a village to raise a child)
Have a great weekend!
