Missed the RSVP to the wedding? Here’s your special invitation with Season 8 of the One Tree Hill http://bit.ly/w2DhRu!’ It finally happened! Brooke and Julian tied the knot in the most anticipated episode of Season 8. It was actually an incredibly romantic episode. It contained none of the drama from past One Tree Hill weddings. One of my favorite parts was the flashback of Brooke and Julian’s relationship. I remember when I got married looking through photo albums of my husband and myself and laughing about the great times we had together.
Brooke’s mom surprises us with gifting Brooke with a memento from her childhood. She also helps ease the disappointment of Brooke’s dad not showing up. So, out of character for Victoria, but she really does show us the she does have a maternal side during this season. She seemed so proud walking Brooke down the aisle. My dad pasted away 2 years before my wedding and he was greatly missed, but having my brothers walk me down the aisle was soothing.
I also loved Jamie’s best man speech. The story that Julian told him about his other half was so romantic, yet believable. It was also lovely to hear it from the lips of a child. Brooke and Julian seemed very touched, as any couple should be as they hear their toast. Not everyone has a good speech writer available to them!
