I haven’t reported in quite some time because I’m still trying to figure things out. I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe we don’t ever truly figure things out because life keeps changing and what once worked doesn’t anymore. The good news is that I’m motivated and I keep plugging away, even if I fail here or there. The good news I’ve still managed to keep the weight off and here is what it looks like: To date I’ve lost 6 pounds and kept it off, but what’s even better is that I’ve lost a total of 9 1/2 inches from my body. Unfortunately, not from my thighs- LOL! Oh, well. I’ll keep at it. I do feel stronger and have more endurance. I’m actually needing to exercise and in a strange way I’m actually starting to like it. Don’t fear however, I don’t see myself becoming one of those people that only talk about the gym and working out.
Work is moving along, but as always I must find more time to develop my blog and writing. My family is important to me so I need to come up with a plan to work with my boys home this Summer. I’m sure it will all fall into place with a little scheduling. Quite a few things have fallen off my Project Me list, but I’m not kicking myself about it. Other priorities have come up but I’m determined to make it all work. We finally got a chance to go away on a family vacation and I think that helped quite a bit.
So, here is what I have in store for June. My husband is teaming up with me and we are going to go all Biggest Loser on each other. He’d loved to lose about 20 pounds and I’d like to lose at least 5 more pounds, but ideally 10. I’m going to re-brand my blog and finish doing some work here in my home. I also have to plan the Summer activities for the boys and I’ll be sharing those here for you.
It’s going to be a busy month, but I look forward to conquering it!
