The Quaker Soft Baked Bar makes a great snack for everyone in my family. Right now alone we have sports and other events that keep my family on the go, with two boys in tow someone is always looking for a snack. On top of that challenge we’ve added braces to the mix so I can’t just grab any bar treat. I need something soft that can be still considered a wholesome food and that’s where Quaker soft baked bars fit in.
At only 140 calories, these bars are made with real fruit and nuts. They deliver 5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protien and are an excellent source of 5 B vitamins. My husband and I started a 6 week body challenge today and those calories fit right in for our morning or afternoon snack. If we want to switch things up a bit we can pop them in the microwave to make a warm bakery like treat!
Right now they are available in Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut. Since I’m not a banana fan the Cinnamon Pecan is the flavor for me. I already know that the kids would go for banana. My boys are probably the main consumer of snack bars here at my home. I like to have them on had as a breakfast snack. Sometimes the mornings get a little hand over here and we have to run and they might not have had time to finish breakfast. I feel good about giving them a snack bar to help them get through the morning rush!
