My little guy is a tough one to get to eat. He brings his lunch to school most of the time because nothing on the menu satisfies him. I’m sure some of you can relate. Tell me if this sounds familiar to you:
O: Owen
M: Me
M: Do you want to buy lunch today? It’s grilled cheese sandwich.
O: No, I want you to make me lunch.
M: What would you like?
O: A cheese sandwich.
M: Can’t you just get lunch at school? It’s grilled cheese you like that.
O: No, you make it please.
M: I have no more yellow cheese. I only have Swiss and you don’t like it.
O: I like it. I’ll eat it.
M: Okay. ( I just don’t see him eating this sandwich, but I have to try.)
He gets home from school and everything from his snack pack is eaten and everything in his lunchbox except the cheese sandwich.
M: Why didn’t you eat your sandwich?
O: Because it was yucky, I don’t like that cheese.
Seriously? I think I speak I different language sometimes. I think he just wanted me to make him a sandwich because he usually buys the grilled cheese. I’ll just never understand.
