Did you know that July is National Berry Month? It’s not a surprise, I mean afterall you keep seeing all these delicious ripe and juicy Driscoll’s berries at the market! Besides adding fresh berries to my children’s breakfast plates, my fans know that I like to kickback with a nice cool cocktail as well. This is my latest creation using Driscoll’s raspberries. Here is my recipe for a Pink Raspberry Cosmopolitan.
Pink Raspberry Cosmopolitan
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons and 1/2 teaspoon vodka
- 1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons triple sec
- 1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon
- 1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons cran-raspberry juice (I use cran-raspberry and pomegranate juice blend)
- 1/4 lemon, sliced
- 3 fresh Drsicoll’s raspberries ( same one for garnish)
Mix ingredients in shaker with ice. Pour and enjoy! My mom and husband both enjoyed this mix and they are not big cocktail fans. Plus the raspberries taste so yummy after sitting in your glass!
Serves 1
Here is something for the kids. We adults shouldn’t get to have all the fun! This is one that both kids and adults can indulge in throughout the day.
Strawberry Water
It doesn’t always have to be lemons flavoring that water of yours. Try adding fresh Driscoll’s Strawberries or Raspberries to make your water flavored and refreshing. My boys are fans of Perrier Sparkling Water with Driscoll’s Strawberries. They think they are drinking soda. It’s almost like I’m giving them a treat. Also a nice pitcher of water with strawberries in it makes a beautiful presentation at a party and gives guests the choice of having a flavored water. Oh and don’t forget to checkout my How to Make a Driscoll’s Strawberry Shake post I did awhile back!
