“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Bomb Pop. I received product samples, a party kit, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
When I was a kid, having a Bomb Pop® was like having a million dollars. It was the pop to have in your hand on a hot Summer day. It was always my top pick. It’s icy and has three colors-how is that not a selling point? Buying a Bomb Pop® for my kids brings back so many memories for me of being with my mom, being at the beach, and well, just being a kid. So, when I got a cooler full of different flavored Bomb Pops® I knew what I needed to do. Have a party playdate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, what I found out was that I wasn’t the only one that enjoyed a Bomb Pop® on a hot Summer day. Kids today are fans as much as I was as a child. Not only that, but they were excited to try new flavors Sour Wower®, a mix of grape, green apple and blue raspberry and Hawaiian Punch®. I myself love the sugar-free version because I can have it as a treat on my diet. SCORE! Do you know there are 13 different flavors of Bomb Pops? I didn’t! I guess I’m more of a traditional girl and stick to the original, but the kids where excited to try something new. We had macaroni and cheese with broccoli on the side for lunch. Yes, I served broccoli and some of the kids ate it. I think the anticipation of having a treat for dessert was motivation.
What the kids had to say:
Bomb Pop is an official sponsor of Little League® Baseball and Softball. My son played T-ball last year, but wasn’t confident enough to continue playing ball this year. He loves watching and playing at home. We were lucky to be sent a Home Run Toss Ball game for our playdate. the kids played in the pool for a little bit, but it was cold for some of the little guys. The game came in handy. The kids took turns throwing balls and scoring points after they enjoyed their ice pops. I have to say that the pops made the party. We also had cool treat to send the kids home with as a reminder of their day. They each got a ball, key chain and best of all a coupon for a free box of Bomb Pops®. I had a few kids not able to come, but I’ll be saving their goodies for them.

I want to try the new flavors. I am like you and seem to stick to the originals but my kids had these growing up and now it’s my grandchildren. Just like your story.
