It’s always a pleasure to be asked to review a book about one of my favorite places New York City! The 365 Guide New York City: Drink. Eat. Save. Every Day of the Year – A Guide to New York City Restaurants and Bars that helps you NOT spend a fortune when you are in New York City.
My Thoughts:
I am always looking to save a buck! I’m a part-time writer, full-time stay at home mom with 2 boys and a husband that works in New York City. We live in the country, but fully take advantage to what the city has to offer us. It can be expensive, but if you know a few simple tricks and places to go it can also be quite affordable. This book is full of restaurant deals and bar specials. It also offers handy tips for those that are not NYC savvy, including a subway map and a map of NYC showing you the locations of each place listed in the book. Still not sure? How about a list of places offering deals according to landmarks? It’s right here in this book. Free food, half priced appetizers, and drink specials are just some of the finds here. The 365 Guide New York City, also offers a seasonal section so it can help you focus on deals that are only available certain times of the year. I love it! I put this book on my gift guide list because if you know someone in the New York City area or that travels or is planning a trip this can be a real money and time saver. That’s why I think it would make for an awesome gift! I hope that Monica DiNatale comes out with a book on best places to eat in NYC with children. I would love to read that one.

You can purchase the book on Amazon. I suggest getting the Kindle edition since an app is not available and then you can use your Kindle app (That you can download on your phone.) to search for places when you don’t have the book handy!
