Over the last 2 days I spent some time looking back at my year and I have strong feelings about what I saw. Personally, it was year of huge growth for me. I have never felt more confident and secure in my life. It did however take almost an entire year for me to get to that point. It was a struggle, but one that I would certainly do again. Professionally I started the year at a low, but ended on a good note. The one thing that I am disappointed about is that I didn’t focus on writing more pieces that have meaning to me. So, once again I am going to make that my goal. I’m honestly going to follow through on this one. I wish you and your family much success in the new year. January:
In January, I tackled the School Bus Bully. My son came home and told us that another 7 year old was going bring a knife on the bus and kill him. Great way to start the 2014 right?
February:
In February I shared how to make these super easy Nutella and Strawberry Crepes. I think if you just put Nutella in the title people will jump at the chance to look! Yum!!!!
March:
My family had an opportunity to join me at many events. One of our favorites was seeing the Nuclear Cowboyz. We had a pre-show party with them and it was awesome!
April:
Let’s be honest here. I make a living using technology so I’m a big fan. I do however have guidelines with how and how much of it I let my kids use. It certainly has it’s benefits as well as downfalls.
May:
I loved working with Good Cook in 2014, I’m sad to see that relationship end. I pushed myself in the kitchen and had much success. (I also failed a bunch) One of my faves was this Prosciutto Bowl with Spinach Fettuccine.
June:
Believe it or not the husband and I actually got to go to an event by ourselves! We attended a press event at Discovery Times Square for the new Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibit.
July:
I love being a Fox Home Entertainment Insider because not only do I get awesome giveaways to share with you, but sometimes I get some special perks. In July we got to take Rio2 on a Road trip!
August:
It’s my birthday month! I take some time every year to reflect on my year and what I’ve learned. So I shared some of this in my 10 Things I Learned This Summer post!
September:
That photo says it all. September marks the end of Summer and the beginning of the school year. Oh and for us- sports and 4H as well. Sometimes I feel as if it’s all way too much. So I have this pic to remind me that even when I think I can’t do it I can anyway!
October:
While I might not make a living blogging, it makes my living so much more fun! The kids had a chance to celebrate 30 years of Transformers with Hasbro Transformers! We ate, created and took home awesome toys!
November:
Have you seen the new Penguins of Madagascar movie? It was so much fun! We had a chance to preview the movie and learn about penguins at the Bronx Zoo.
December:
The best part of my year has to be all the wonderful times I get to share with friends. It’s even better when I get goodies to host! Thanks to Fox Home Entertainment we had a Jingle All the Way 2 party!
Thanks for hanging in with me this past year! If you’ve been with me since the beginning- thank you, thank you!!!! If you have not yet subscribed please do so! It helps me carry on my dream! Have a Happy New Year!
