Mosquitos are probably the one thing that I hate about Summertime. You are out and about trying to catch your kids game, hiking, or having a meal in you backyard and they ruin it for you. When I was a child the biggest risk was getting bitten and scratching until you bleed. Today there are a number of serious health risks involved when you get bitten. Thankfully, the experts at Orkin study the science of mosquitos and other pests. This allows them to make plans to help keep these types of pests out of your home this Summer!
Do Mosquitoes prefer Adults over Children?

Orkin uses the latest technology and unparalleled training to develop an effective treatment that’s right for your needs. To learn more about Orkin’s pest control based in science or to schedule an inspection, visit orkin.com or call 1-800-800-ORKIN.

I learned that: Bright colors have not been proven to attract adult mosquitoes, but strong smells like perfumes, scented soaps, and lotions do. Standing water sources and hot exhaled gases also attract mosquitoes.
