StriVectin Hair: Ageless Hair #Review #Beauty #StriVeSTORY

SriVectin Ageless Hair

Have you heard? StriVectin has a line of hair care products. StriVectin uses their NIA-114 technology to optimize the signs of ageless hair. As a forty something I can see that my hair has changed throughout the years. Personally, my hair has gotten drier and thinner as I have aged. I know that some of the dryness has to do with color treating my hair and the hard water at my home. I also know that I’m not twenty anymore and that might have something to do with my hair thinning. Plus there is also the m-word that might be sneaking up on me! (Menopause) All of these factors can add to the loss soft, full and vibrant hair.

I’ve been sent the StriVectin Hair Ultimate Restore line of products for me to try out. Here is the scoop about each of them

StriVectin Hair

Ultimate Restore Shampoo:

This is the first step in cleansing your hair. The product produces a gentle lather and is lightly scented naturally. It is designed to cleanse and not strip your natural oils. Since it contains no sulfates, parabens, phthalates, phosphates or synthetic dyes it is safe for chemically and color treated hair. It’s very light, but my hair felt nice and clean afterwards.

StriVectin Hair

Ultimate Restore Conditioner:

This would be your next step towards nourishing your hair. I massaged the conditioner into my hair and on my scalp. Once again it was lightly scented, but this time it felt like I was rubbing silk into my hair. I could feel it coating my hair. I loved the feel of it in my hands and on my hair. Once it was rinsed out my hair felt smooth and silky. I felt the moisture in my hair.

StriVectin Hair

Ultimate Restore Deep Repair Mask:

The deep repair mask is the third step. After I finished rinsing out my conditioner I applied the thick mask. The product advises that you use it 1-2 times a week. I do not wash my hair everyday because it is so dry so I used this product twice a week. This is to help restore weak and brittle hair. If you have any heat damage this can help replenish the dry strands. Once again my hair felt silky smooth when I rinsed it. I wrapped my hair in a special microfiber towel. I have learned that using a towel and towel drying your hair can be damaging to your hair as well. So, I just squeeze out the extra water and wrap it!

StriVectin Hair

Ultimate Restore Densifying Foaming Treatment:

This product can be used everyday whether your hair is damp or dry. You massage 2 -3 pumps on to your entire scalp. This is supposed to help with breakage. It reinforces the hair cuticle for increased strength and resilience. This was the one product that I wasn’t sure of, but I think it has certainly helped my hair.

StriVectin Hair

My Results:

I have only been using the product for a few weeks. I also only wash my hair every other day or every two days depending on how it looks. Here is what I can definitely say: My hair IS softer. I love how it feels for the first time in a long time. While it still looks s bit dry to me the texture has significantly improved. Is my hair fuller? YES! It’s amazingly full! So, it feels good and full! As far as breakage and hair loss go, I do believe that it has been reduced. While I still have hair break and fall out when I was, I know that some loss is normal. I am no longer losing the amount of hair I once was in the shower or on my brush. I have tried several different hair care products and haven’t gotten these results. I think StriVectin hits it out of the park again! This time for hair care!

StriVectin Hair

StriVectin also has a hair care line especially for Color Care and Max Volume. Check out their products at Sephora.com and Ulta.com

Your hair looks great. It’d be nice to have a product like that in the house where you could really feel the moisture.

The hair products sound awesome and it is great that they are free of all the bad chemicals. Most stuff just weighs the hair down so we are constantly looking for products to try that cleanse the hair more naturally. Might have to give these a go.

I had no idea they did hair care products. Now that I’m older I find that my hair doesn’t cooperate like it did when I was younger. I will have to look into this for me.

I’ve used their eye cream before but had no idea about the hair products. My hair is so fine and everything weighs it down. Good to hear this product doesn’t do that!

Do they make a line that is safe for colour treated hair?
I recently went darker and I want to make sure it stays rich and full as long as possible!
You mentioned that your hair has thinned our and gotten more brittle as you have aged. I noticed that mine doesn’t grow nearly as quickly as it used to.

I was soooooo curious about the hair care line, thank you so much for the review! I think I will start with the twice a week mask, as I really just want to add something ‘spa’ to my regular lineup. Fab post! stay inspired, Robin from THE INSPIRED (http://www.theinspired.life)

I could use the ones for color treated hair for sure, my poor tresses are dried out from years of chemical treatment.

I didn’t know that hair aged apart formats turning grey, of course. I think of hair as I think of nails, so it’s fascinating to read. It seems like the products are helping you take good care of you hair, so thumbs up.
