Can you believe it’s been 25 years since Kevin McCallister got lost in New York? My boys and I had the pleasure of attending a screening of Home Alone 2: Lost in York and then we were hosted for a Home Alone experience at The Plaza. You also can live like Kevin coming this November 17th at the Plaza! Take a peek at our day!
The Paris Theatre is located right across the street from the Plaza. We were treated with popcorn, drinks and a big screen viewing of Home Alone 2.
No digitalized version of this film! We watched it old school on original untouched film. My kids loved the experience since they have never had it. I felt somewhat nostalgic about it. We have the film at home and watch all of the Home Alone films all throughout the holiday season. Being from New York and having been to many of the places in the film makes it my favorite.
We headed across the street to the Plaza to get a taste of the Kevin McCallister Experience! It started with a one of a kind photo booth experience! We were whisked away into Kevin’s world.
A reception was hosted in the Todd English Food Hall to taste-test a 90’s inspired menu with upscale versions of childhood favorites. “Todd” Pockets and the most delicious onion rings were served.
Sunny-D and Zima inspired cocktails were on hand, as well as, gourmet SpaghettiOs and pizzas. As part of the experience being offered at the Plaza you too can get your hands on these treats!
You can book the Home Alone 2: Lost in New York Anniversary Room Package and the “Kevin McCallister Experience beginning November 17 through January 31, 2018. You are never Home Alone at the Plaza!
Fox Home Entertainment has released a 25th Anniversary Blu-ray and DVD, which is now available!

This would be so much fun! My kids are 9, 8, and 6, I think this year we are going to show them this movie. They are finally at an age where they will find the two bad guys funny and not scary. This is such an awesome and classic holiday movie.

Whether or not you have kids, this seems like such a fun way to relive a classic movie. The presentation of the food is too cute- love those Capri Sun pouches and the onion ring baskets. You’ve got me wishing that I still lived in New York!

WOW, 25 years. I know I am getting up in years now. This is one of our favorite holiday movies. Even my dad enjoys it. We watch it every year together. You all look like you had a fabulous time together.
BTW on my next trip to NY, we must get together so your boys can show my kid around.
