Our Thoughts:
We LOVED it! Once again after forcing my boys 14 and almost 12, plus the husband to watch this with me, they all loved it. Both of my boys said they couldn’t believe what a good movie Coco turned out to be. They had seen another movie that focused on Dia de Los Muertos and made the assumption that this movie would be just like it. I reminded them that there are hundreds of movies about Christmas and other holidays and that they each have something to offer. I appreciated this storyline and found it to be captivating for both children and adults. I can’t wait to watch it again. The film is rated PG for thematic elements, so you would need to judge for yourself whether or not your child could handle the content. It also has a running time of 105 minutes which could be long for some children, but it flew by for my family. We would say this is another must own for any home movie collection. You are sure to watch it over and over again.
