Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Now in Theaters!
My boys and I caught and advance screening of the film thanks to The Moms. The screening also had a Q & A with one of its voice stars, Will Arnett. He plays the films super villain! How perfect is that? As you can see my boys had a blast at the screening. Excuse my son’s blue mouth, but a candy bar offered loads of treats for the moviegoers and the Ring Pop won his heart!
About Teen Titans Go! To The Movies:
When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! “TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES” finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza—a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the superhero genre, complete with musical numbers. It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously Super-Villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!
Rated PG for action and rude humor.
Before we had a chance to preview the movie Will Arnett was interviewed by The MOMs and took questions from the audience. He made us laugh by doing some of his other voices that he is famous for, such as, Lego Batman! It was so cool! He said his part of the movie Teen Titans Go! is the music. I later found out why.
It was a wonderful experience for us to get to spend some time with him and learn about him not only as an actor, but as a father. My kids loved this opportunity and I feel as if it also enhanced their experience of the movie.
My thoughts on the movie:
I can’t believe that I am saying this, but……go see it!!!!! I agree with Will Arnett and the music is great! It is all original for the film and it was fantastic. My boys were not too interested in seeing this film, as they are older. They too were surprise that they enjoyed it as much as they did. They also recommend the film. This is a movie that you will take your kids to and not be bored at all! Plus it teaches kids a great lesson about friendship.
