“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Air Wick. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
My family and I live in an older home. I have some sort of product to freshen the air in almost every room. I’ve learned through trial and error which products work best and don’t overpower with their scents. Air Wick is one of the brands that I use in my home regularly. So, I was excited to try their new limited edition National Parks Collection. I learned that Air Wick is a supporter of the National Parks charity National Parks Foundation (NPF). This collaboration suddenly made sense and with over 400 national parks I’m sure it must have been hard to choose which scents to produce. The fragrances were crafted by fragrance experts that spent countless hours trying to blend the perfect harmony of scents found in these parks.
These are the scents I got to try:
- Grand Canyon: Cactus Flower and Warm Breeze has warm subtle floral notes. ( Think spa- that’s what it reminds me of!)
- American Samoa: Coconut and Island Palms is just the right blend of sweet coconut and palms. ( Think camping on an island would smell like this!)
- Hawai’i: Exotic Papaya and Hibiscus Flower is a blend of sweet fruit and floral. ( Think having a cocktail watching the sunset on a beach.)
- Denali: Soft Cotton Grass and Spring Air is clean , fresh and relaxing. (Think – The first day of Spring lying on a blanket with a cool breeze blowing on you.)
These scented oils retail for $5.99 for a two pack. Just place one in a warmer and get swept away to a national park! The warmers have a dial on them so you can turn the scent up or down. I love this feature because I have rooms that I just want to add a touch of scent and then I have others (like my basement) where I want to mask odors. I decided to use the warmer I received in my son’s room. He’s 9 and recently I noticed that his room just wasn’t as fresh anymore. I picked the Denali scent. He noticed it right away and so did his brother. They enjoyed it so much that I had to buy another warmer for my other son’s room! He’s enjoying Hawai’i. Now we are all happy for different reasons, but one remains the same. We all enjoy the scents.
My favorite scented oil is Grand Canyon. I’m saving that one for my bathroom. Right now I am able to enjoy the American Samoa scent in Air Wick’s scented candle. I love these candles. They look classy in their frosted glass container and don’t have a label identifying them as “air fresheners”. It’s been slow burning which leads me to believe the packaging claims of a 25 hour burn time. These candles that contain essential oils retail for $4.99 and come in scents: American Samoa and Denali. Air Wick scented candles are 3oz. It’s a special way to bring the outside in. Air Wick is also featuring these National Park scents with their reed diffusers and Freshmatic auto spray refills. Next time your at the store give these scents a try before they are gone.
