Mr. Peabody and Sherman was released on DVD/ Blu-ray on October 12, 2014. As a Fox Home Entertainment Insider I received a copy on the film and had a chance to host a crafting movie night with my kids. First of all, the kids were so excited to see the branded plates and cups. They felt as if they were in store for something special. We ate pizza and of course popcorn! The room was silent except for the laughs which were plentiful. The boys had seen the movie in theaters, but being it was such a long time ago they loved watching it at home. Frankly, if my guys love a movie we watch it over and over again.
We were also provided with crafts geared to our theme of Ancient Greece! The kids loved having an entire night devoted to this film. We set up the craft center and worked on our Trojan Masks! We also got instructions on making our own toga, but my boy’s weren’t really interested. I was a bit disappointed because I thought that would have been the fun part. The kids even took the craft a step further and created swords with the materials available. That’s when they went from quiet crafty kids to loud warriors running and yelling, “Smell my victory!.” ( If you’ve seen the movie you know what I’m talking about!)
Do you want to have your own crafty movie night with Mr. Peabody & Sherman? Here are the crafty instructions for you to print out and try for yourself. Make movie night and event in your home.
These are the masks the boys made on movie night. Instead of having the entire mask made with paper I had them use a paper plate for the top portion for more support. It worked out great. Print full size directions by clicking P_S_Trojan_Mask. They also used the other half of the plate to make swords. (Just sayin’)
These look like real fun, but my guys said,” NO!” I think I might do this for another party night with adults. Click Trojan_Toga and print out full-sized instructions on how to make your own Toga! I want to thank 20th Century Fox for sharing this fun movie experience with my family and friends. It’s so fun and easy to make movie night an event for everyone. I plan on doing this again and again.
Disclosure: A fun party package was provided to me from 20th Century Fox and Michael’s. All thoughts, pizza and popcorn spills belong to me!

What a cute movie and in its own way it helped your children learn about ancient civilization. I love the instructions for the toga and will share it with my daughter for Halloween. Mr Peabody and Sherman was around when my kids were little and now it is back for my grand daughters cool
