So, here is the scoop on my progress with The 30 Day Shred. Drum roll please………..
Weight Lost: 5lbs
Goal: 15
Inches: 1 off my waist – no change elsewhere
Inches to go: Several
Here is how is how it’s going: I, like every other mom out there have had “things” come up so I have not been consistent with this workout. I’m only on Day 5 when I should be on Day 10. Normally this is where I begin to fail. I get excited that I lost weight and I just give up because I’m not keeping up with the workout. Not this time! That is why I’m blogging about it. Please hold me accountable for completing this workout.
Some of you are saying,”I would be happy with 5 pounds.” Well, I’ve been documenting my weight loss/gains and this is what happens:
- I always lose 5 lbs right away
- It always comes off my waist first
- Then I give up.
I am sticking to my goal and making myself accountable this time. Since I lost the weight so fast I’m believing the food allergy theory that the doctor spoke to me about. I cut out all dairy. That is the ONLY adjustment I have made to my diet. I will admit that in general I’m a healthy eater so that is not an issue for me.
My issue is taking the time to exercise, we all have so much too do. This is something that I really want to do for myself. So even though I was not able to do it the way I wanted to, I’m sticking to it.
The workout is very difficult for me, as I am not in the best shape, but I am getting stronger and its getting easier. I hope that whatever workout or diet plan you are trying that it is working for you. Don’t give up, you can do this, just keep going, even if things don’t work the way you planned. This is the one thing you can do for you.
