We are in the home stretch now! My little graduated from Preschool this week and my big guy has 3 half days left. Then they are all mine…hahahahaha ( that was in a evil villain kind of laugh). I’ll be sharing with you my “fake camp” plans and schedule this week. I also launched my Facebook Fan Page, please stop by and like me if you haven’t already. It would be much appreciated. It has been an interesting week to say the least. Here I go….
This Week I Learned That:
10. my cat will eat a rubber band and vomit all over my house at the most inconvenient time. ( this time it would be while we were celebrating Owen’s preschool graduation)
9. good friends see past all your inadequacies. ( they actually help you embrace them)
8. when someone bullies one of our kids the ripple effect takes place and we all feel the pain of that mom and child.
7. I’m becoming so much better at small talk. ( I put on my big girl panties and went for it )
6. there truly is no “right” way to parent and there are no two kids exactly alike.
5. mys on told one of the teachers aides at school that he is from an Asian family. ( we are Italian, Irish and English, but he has two cousins from Korea, so I guess we are Korean too!)
4. since I have no TV, I just learned that Gene Simmons and Sharon Tweed are having issues. ( I’m very upset by this- I hope they make it.)
3. I can ask all my friends to Like my Facebook page, but it’s only a handful that actually do it. (WTF)
2. I’m actually going to be able to breathe next school year. ( and that is all I can say about that, just know I’m happy)
1. there is no avoiding ANYTHING. You just need to face things head on and try your best. ( you can only avoid things for so long before they come back and bite you in the ass.)
So, this is the part where I usually tell you all the wacky stuff my hubby does during the week, but alas, his back is out and between doctors and spending most of his time hunched over an exercise ball on the floor-nothings happened.- Sorry, I know this is the highlight of everbodies week. Just say a little prayer for a quick recovery. I love this guy you know!
