Seriously people! If I get one more comment about how good squats are for you I’m going to vomit. Yes, Squats are great for your butt and legs, but not on your knees. I am shut down today. I can barely walk. Before you even go there, no it’s not because I’m out of shape, but because of a knee condition I have on my left knee. I had surgery on my right knee as well, but that doesn’t bother me as much. So, give me a break with these squats people. I’m going back to Tracy for real. Today nothing is happening, I can barely walk. Squats are not helping my cause.
I definitely feel more confident, but I’m still not satisfied. I’m still only 2 pounds down. I’m not discouraged though. My doctor told me that losing 10-15 pounds is going to take me quite sometime since I’m not overweight. He said it’s a battle losing that last 10 and that’s where you are at. Okay, I get it.
I just ordered over $100 in skincare and hair products from Sephora, thanks to some very generous PR companies I have worked with. My skin is crappy from the detoxing and in need of help. The haircut also helped my self-esteem quite a bit. I highly recommend making a change to anyone that feels stuck.
And, the most important thing-have FUN! Doing this project has helped me realize that I’m much too hard on myself. I’m being responsible for my health, happiness and general well-being. Life is good and stressful. Live every minute of it.
