We have it all here at my house. I have one child that I am homeschooling and another that attends traditional public school. Playdates are a must for my 2 active boys, even more so now that we are homeschooling. The nice part about living in the country is all the open spaces and nature to explore right in our backyard. My boys have a trampoline and quite active imaginations. They need to since our play area is under construction. When we host a playdate you never quite know what’s going to happen. The thing that I do know is that my oldest unfortunately is plagued by allergies, as I am myself.
I also know that I can count on Children’s Claritin to help him have a successful time during any playdate. Sharing my experience with other parents about allergies and outdoor play is helpful in so many ways. Outdoor play is more important now than ever. Kids are spending too many hours on electronics and have lost their connection to nature. Some simple tips to getting your kids outdoors can include: picnics, water games, art activities (no indoor mess) and nature scavenger hunts (my kids love these!).
After a long day of playing with our friends the best reward comes with some ice cream or a pop! What creative ideas do you have for a Summer playdate? I’d love to hear them!
