My son and I had the opportunity to join Mom Central at the Energizer Power the Creativity event with Crayola in NYC. The event took place at Apple Seeds and we got to take a hands on look at how Crayola and Energizer work together. I became a big fan of Energizer over the Summer when I got to take a sneak peek at their new Energizer Flameless Wax Candles. I actually even got to do a review and giveaway for them earlier in the year. I own quite a few of these candles and can’t wait to get more! They add a slight scent and ambiance to my living room. When I have parties at my house I like pointing them out and telling my friends about them. You can put them in places that candles can’t go, plus you don’t have to worry about your toddler picking them up. They look and feel real. My big plan is to buy hanging candle scones for my wall and use them there. They have a built in timer so you never have to worry about about turning them on or off. LOVE IT! Okay, now back to the event!
My son had a blast trying the items by Crayola paired with Energizer Max batteries. Energizer Max Batteries with Power Seal Technology have the ability to power up all of your kids’ toys this holiday season. While speaking with Energizer representative I learned that their power can hold up to 10 years on the shelf. As a mom with many battery powered toys I don’t think I’ll actually get to test that out, but I know that I’ll be stocking up on batteries this holiday season. There is nothing worse than getting a toy for Christmas and not having any batteries for it. It’s actually cruel. I buy all types and keep them on hand to avoid such meltdowns.
When I asked my son what Crayola item he liked best he said, “All of them. They are all cool and I want them all!” He’s 6 so you can imagine that would be his answer. Lucky for me that Energizer and Crayola have teamed up and if you look for specially marked packages of Energizer MAX batteries ( AA-16 and AAA-16) you can get coupons to help you save up to $20 off your Participating Crayola purchases.
Participating Crayola® products include:
- Crayola® Digital Light Designer™
- Crayola® Sketcher Projector™
- Crayola® Light-Up Tracing Pad
- Crayola® Glow Book or Glow Dome
- Any Crayola® Color Wonder® Product
So, in a nutshell I learned that it’s not only about giving the right gift, but about pairing it with a battery that’s going last. Check out Energizer on Facebook or visit them at www.energizer.com
