I’m sure you’ve seen Dr. Oetker’s Ristorante Pizza in your local grocery freezer. I know I have and I’ve been curious to try it. So, when a new Buzz campaign arose to give two of these pizza’s a try I couldn’t say no! So, off to my local store I went to pick up my pies! They only had two choices and I got one of each. They were at the bottom of the freezer and had some ice on them, but darn those pictures on the package look yummy. Here is what mine looked like after I cooked them.
This is a picture of the pizza above after it came from my oven. Although it doesn’t look the same I have to say it tasted great. This is the Mozzerella pizza. My husband liked this one more than the other. It has a very thin crispy crust, sun ripened tomatoes and zesty pesto sauce. I liked it as well. Although my kids would not eat this one with the pesto, I would have to buy another kind for them.
This was my favorite and I would never order a meat pizza! This is called Speciale. It has pepperoni, cooked ham and spicy herbs. Only 1 of kids would eat this one. I found it very tasty, but husband preferred the other one. I do however have to say it was a bit salty, but I am not a meat eater. I know ham can be salty at times. This also has a thin crust. They both take about 12-15 minutes to cook right on your oven rack. I do want to try the other yummy pies. The other varieties are: spinachi, funghi, quatro formaggi and vegetale.
Conclusion: I would buy this product again! For more information check out D. Oetker online.
Disclosure: I was given two free pizzas and product coupons for my honest opinion and for being a BzzAgent.
