So, I’m frantically running to the post office to try to get these out to my kids grandparents. We had a snow day and the kids and I had this great Valentine crafting event with kids. . It was fast and easy and the kids loved getting their hands full of paint. As you can see it’s simply 2 hand prints turned upside down into a heart.
To make it even more special, I did the writing in the shape of the heart with the year and my boys names. I’ve laminated them and off to the post office we go- Shhh– don’t tell the grandparents. None of them read my blog so I’m not ruining the surprise! We love Valentine crafting!
We also made some treat bags for my sons preschool class. Very inexpensive. We bought a bunch of goodies at the dollar store and Target and then added some candy. We also printed up valentines card from Chuck E. Cheese that gives the kids 5 tokens-they were FREE. ( Check site for availability!)
We also went to the Family Fun website and printed off pencil toppers. they added a little something to the gifts for just the cost of printing. Too Cute!
My husband and I went out to eat last weekend so we’ll be celebrating here at the house with our boys. I’ve got some special treats for them!

Love your ideas! I've got a passion for crafts. Going to have to try that hand print cards. They are so original and laminating them was such a good idea. Thanks for sharing.
