Where should I begin? It has been an emotionally draining week. I know it wasn’t just me because my girls and I talked about it and the negativity has been in the air everywhere. A few people told me, ” I can’t wait for your ten things. It should be a good week.” Sure, I have a lot on my mind and a lot I could say, but what would it accomplish? Would spreading the negativity around make me feel better? I don’t think so. Should I lie and make up things that I learned that are positive? No, I don’t play that way. Here is what I will do, I will work through my negativity with the words of Mother Teresa. Words that I came across two nights ago and honestly they could be more appropriate. So here is Mother Teresa with a commentary from me:
Mother Teresa taught me:
10. People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered: Forgive them anyway ( Such a huge part of this week for me)
9. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. ( This has touched me this week as well)
8. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. ( The people that don’t talk to you because you live in the wrong area, or don’t have a job that’s considered high status, are people that you wouldn’t want to be your friend. Remember that when things go your way.)
7. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. (That’s the only way to be)
6. When you spend years building something, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. ( Don’t let the fear that someone is going to take something from you stop you from enjoying yourself)
5. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. ( Don’t let people criticize your life, your home, or your work if that’s what makes you happy)
4. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. ( Don’t do good things to be noticed do them because it’s in your heart)
3. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you’ve got anyway. (Don’t wait for someone else’s approval, you’ll be disappointed)
2. You see, in the final analysis it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.
1. Do it anyway.
Sorry to disappoint anyone that was waiting for an angry vent, it really is pointless. This poem came to me the other night for a reason. This is the part of my week that I want to share with you. This is the good stuff. This is where I take control and turn all that went wrong right. This is where I hope to empower you to move through all the crap that other people dump on you and just do and be who you are today.
Much Love and Thanks for Reading,

Hey, great article, but I wanted to tell you I clicked on your “Free 8×10 Canvas” link on the right side of your page and uploaded a photo and my canvas is on it’s way in 7-10 days for only $14.95 Shipping & Handling in case your readers wanted to know what the shipping and handling charges were. Not a bad deal for an 8×10 canvas. I didn’t get any extras, but they offer frames, special effects and even a Warhol effect. For only $14.95 this will make a present that looks like it costs much more compared to store prices so I thought I’d check it out as it was easy enough.
