Is the agony of waiting for the holidays almost over? Almost! Life has been a crazy circus over here. A little too much activity and too much commitment. I’ve learned my lesson. Most of my appliances are now working and that has taken some stress off of my life. This week has been filled with Christmas parties, pageants and shopping. I’m so ready for January and the simple life. I think I say things will slow down after….. all the time, but it’s just not true. Such is the circle of life! Here you have it:
This week I learned that:
10. seeing my son is his Shepard costume is all I needed to get into the Christmas spirit. (OMG, so cute!! I love that he’s doing the pagaent.)
9. my oldest son has been keeping track of his feelings on paper. ( This is cool.)
8. the same son doesn’t really like toys. ( I suspected as much, but he just came out and told so.)
7. my Ethel seemed surprised at my “mean girl” ways. ( all I have to say is, Dinosaur arms deserves it!)
6. my kids have way too many toys. ( I don’t know why I’m surprised, but as I’m packing them up awaiting new arrivals to take there place I was truly blown away.)
5. exercise “really” is helping my quest for a better life. ( I hate to admit it because I hate sweating, but my mood is so much better.)
4. old friends are always close by. ( I’ve had so many offers of help when things seemed to have fallen apart over here. Thank you!)
3. standing up for what you believe in sometimes might uncomfortable, but it always pays off.
2. even sober I can still manage to make a fool of myself. ( That would be me falling on the dance floor at my husbands Christmas party. I should have just gotten drunk!)
1. somehow it all works itself out. ( This has been a crazy emotional coaster of a month so far and now it’s calmed down. Good for now.)
Have a great weekend! Look for some great new things to appear on my site hopefully next week!
