I’ve been making my own detergent for quite some time now, but every so often I run out and have to grab a bottle of something. Tide and SheSpeaks have given me and my family the opportunity to try Tide Coldwater and we took the challenge. I usually wash my clothes in cold water. It saves money and is better for the environment. Let’s see how Tide works against the stains of two little boys and one construction worker!
Now that’s some nasty ring around the collar! My husband works a dirty job and normally these types of stains I have to pre-treat with a stain remover. I wanted to see how well tide could remove stains in cold water so I just rubbed some around the collar area and that’s all. I didn’t add anything else.
Now that’s impressive! I have to be honest and sometimes I’m in a hurry and don’t always pre-treat. So that stain has probably been there for awhile.
I also tested it on my 5 year old’s jacket. This is unexplained kid goo and it’s been there for awhile. My washer wasn’t working so I never had a chance to wash this right away and it’s been sitting.
Okay, so I’m sold. Once again I just put some on the spot and threw it in the machine, cold water and all. Honestly, I’d have to pre-treat with my home made stuff. Tide Coldwater not only removed the stains, but gave my clothes a nice fresh scent that wasn’t overpowering. It also didn’t make me sneeze, which is what happens with a lot of other cleaning products. So, if you are looking to start saving by using cold water, this is the way to go.
I’m loving my Tide Coldwater wash!
Disclosure: Thanks again to SheSpeaks and Tide for providing me with product in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions and dirty clothes are my own!

Great review! I have been washing in cold water and will have to try this and compare with other detergents! I usually just buy when I have a coupon and a sale. Fortunately I have a $2 off Tide coupon. ๐
