So, first let me say I need to start using a tripod and timer because it seems my husband can’t take a picture to save his life. I wanted you to see these cute capri pants, but I don’t have one photo of them!. I even put cute sandals on for this photo, but you’ll have to take my word for it. I have two more outfits for you from my ten dollar challenge. I vowed to spend no more than ten dollars on an outfit. It’s so much easier than I thought it was going to be. This outfit is such a good transition for the Spring. The capri pants are from the Gap and the shirt Anne Klein Sport. I bought these pieces once again at Family Day from the Salvation Army. That’s when most items are 50% off.
Here is the breakdown: I paid $1.50 for the shirt and $2.50 for the pants. Outfit total: $4.00 My son’s Kindergarten classmate telling me I looked beautiful: priceless.
I especially loved this cute top I found as well. It’s 100% cotton and made in Canada. The jeans are so soft and fit just right. They are Eddie Bauer jeans. What did I pay? The shirt cost me 99 cents and the pants $2.50. So, let’s say $3.50! The outfit fit so good I had problems keeping my husband off of me. It also was a hit with my boys that just loved the shirt. So, have I convinced you yet? Two outfits for $7.50 plus I got compliments. What are some deals that you have found at your local thrift store? I’d love to hear about them or feature them here! Let me know.

That’s funny about your husband not taking the photo right lol. What a super deal! $3.50 for an whole outfit and it looked great! No one would have any idea it was so cheap. I love thrift stores. I used to shop at Goodwill all the time in San Francisco but since I’ve been in New Jersey I haven’t yet.
