*Disclosure: I received a copy of this plan in order to facilitate my review. All thoughts belong to me! *

When My friend Bonnie Dewkett over at The Joyful Organizer asked me if I’d like to take a peek at the Back To School Plan she put together along with Brianne DeRosa from Red,Round,OrGreen.Com I jumped at the chance! Personally, I feel as if I have been an organizational mess lately. I’m usually on the ball, but life has changed so I need help. I couldn’t wait to see what they put together.

The Scoop:

This is a 14 day back to school plan that has been designed to make your life less stressful and more manageable. It includes 60 days worth of make-ahead lunch menus, 2 weeks of freezer dinners, and huge amount of tips to keep you on top and organized for school. They have gone ahead and broken down the steps for you to take day by day. In as little as 60-90 minutes a day you can save yourself hours of planning, packing and cooking. Each meal outlined here can be adapted to fit gluten-free and vegetarian needs.

My Review:

Love it, love it, love it! My son will not eat school lunch. He is a vegetarian and besides pizza he has no options. I make lunch everyday. I homeschool my other son, but he does attend a program 3 days a week and I have to make lunch for him as well. He is not a vegetarian. This plan has given me awesome ideas and recipes for lunches for both my boys. I have honestly never thought about preparing meals for lunch and freezing them. I do for dinner so I don’t know why I hadn’t thought about it for lunch. The ideas here are great and I can use the recipes for both boys! This plan also comes with printables that you can use to keep track of what’s in your freezer and what you plan to serve for the week. I can’t wait to get started. All the work is done here for you. You just need to follow the plan. Easy! The plan includes tips on getting kids to help with chores to make things easier for you as the new school year begins. Brilliant! Don’t have your school supply list yet? Helpful suggestions have been included in this guide of what might be on your child’s list so you can begin purchasing supplies while the sales are hot. I love the tips on organizing a homework area and your kids closet. I found this plan incredibly useful and the recipes easy to follow. I’m feeling this is going to be a successful start to an amazing year.

This is a really helpful product. I know many moms and dads that would love this. I am all for being organized, which if you ask the hubby I am not. We do not agree on that! I can even see my oldest using this as well.

Thank you for the review. I think we could all use this. My grandkids will seldom eat the lunches at school so it is quite a chore to plan lunches for all of them.
