I’ve done quite a bit of work in the past for the ASPCA and now they are celebrating their 150th anniversary! I can’t believe that they have been helping animals for so long. To honor that milestone they launched 150 Days of Rescue. This is a nationwide action campaign seeking to unite the country in making a difference in the lives of animals. Are you in? If you are getting the kids involved is easy!

While we can’t take anymore animals into our home my boys love visiting the shelter, making donations and spending time with the animals. Most children enjoy animals and having them do activities to help their furry friends can really help a child to feel good about themselves. It also teaches them that people can make a difference no matter how small.
