Eddie The Eagle Movie Night Bingo #EddieInsiders #EddieBingo

June 27, 2016 By Milena Barrett

Eddie The Eagle

Eddie the Eagle now available on Blu-ray and DVD!

I’ve been dying to watch this movie with my children. I was fortunate enough to screen it before it’s release and interview the stars Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton for this blog. We had tried to get my family to the theaters to catch Eddie the Eagle, but we missed it. So, the next best thing is family movie night, and to make it special I received a special Eddie the Eagle movie night package!

Eddie Eagle

The film takes place in the eighties and at the Winter Olympics. Nothing could be better than a hot chocolate and a movie themed game night to celebrate! We were sent Eddie themed Bingo cards and chocolate nuggets to mark our cards! Do you remember the eighties? I sure do and we never had to worry about smartphones getting in the way of our fun. No texts to distract from our family time together.

Eddie the Eagle

The bingo card came complete with images of things found in the movie. It was also set up for playing multiple times. You would play one way and then switch your card with the other players and then play a different way. My boys and hubby were so into it. This was actually our second time watching the movie. I just couldn’t wait for the bingo kit to arrive to see it again!

Eddie The Eagle

My entire family loved this film. We need more movies such as this one. It’s the perfect reminder that you don’t always have to be a winner to be a hero. Sometimes just being a part of something that you love is enough, and I think that’s important for kids to know in this age were everything is a competition.

About Eddie The Eagle:

Taron Egerton co-stars alongside Academy Award® Nominee Hugh Jackman* in this high-flying, feel-good story inspired by true events. Egerton plays Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself–even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (Jackman), the lovable underdog wins the hearts of fans around the world by making an unforgettable showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Inspired by a dream come true – Eddie the Eagle available now on Blu-ray/DVD and Digital HD!

    I want to see this!
I pretty much love any version of BINGO – whether at home or even at the BINGO halls – where I’m easily 30 years younger than everyone there.
    I’ll play!
